Barred Owl Sighting!

While house-sitting in Rowley, MA, I was lucky enough to come across this beautiful Barred Owl.  In spite of me staring at him in awe he didn't move an inch until the Blue Jays started dive bombing.  After spotting the owl, I called Sean who grabbed my camera and raced over just in time.  He may or may not have been going a bit faster than the speed limit...But who wouldn't??  He got here just in time for both of us to watch the owl for 30+ minutes.  So here's some pictures!  Enjoy :)

Snowy Owl Sighting!

First Snowy owl of the season for Sean and I!  I wanted to share some pictures.  Sean received news that one was spotted at the Salisbury Reservation and I scrambled across the slippery rocks with camera in hand, lay down on bird soiled rocks and took as many pictures as I could.  Unfortunately, my "shoot" was cut short so I wasn't able to get closer.

Plum Island Holiday Fair

I've signed up for the annual Plum Island Holiday Fair at the PITA hall on Plum Island.  If you live nearby and want to do some holiday shopping, there will be at least 30+ crafters, artists, and vendors.  Lunch, snacks and festivities! 

December 3rd from 8am-3pm. 

Hopefully I'll be adding more fairs to the list soon!  If you hear of any, please let me know and I'll try and snag a last minute booth. :)

October Happenings

After fixing up my nifty blog, I uploaded all of my new crafty creations!  Please feel free to leave comments/feedback, or request something new.  I'm incapable of sticking to one particular 'medium', so expect to see an eclectic variety of handmade shenanigans.
